To start make sure you cover all the floor and any furnitures with dust sheets.
Every job needs the right skills. Painting is very easy job if you are looking to DIY. All you need is a scraper £1 bucket from B&Q, filler to cover any holes, sand paper to sand the the walls, make sure you clean the walls after sending. On new plaster apply a mist coat and allow 24 hours before you put another coat. You also need a ladder, paint tray, roller and clean brush.
